N A T U R A L .

I have awesome long box braids in now that i did myself-------> , but I really really miss my Afro!!!!!!!!! I am a natural, I started transitioning May of 2010 and by July 28,2010 I decided to do the big chop. Everyone was going insane saying "WHYYY??!?!?!" but i simply stated that i wanted to do something different, i wanted to be ME! So i mustarded up enough courage [after asking my mom a thousand times to take me to get it cut professionally but she didnt budge so.....] i did it myself!!! Saved time and money lol, ------> See! ------>

Anddd... as the process went on with me snipping away all that chemical-absorbed hair------>

i got the results of this------>YAY! I was sooo happy with my hair because i took the big step and i was on my way to a head of beautiful NATURAL hair that JAH gave me!!! As it grew.. I somehow decided that i wanted Dreadlocks so i began learning to twist it myself in order to lock it up ----->

After hours spent twisting and retwisting i felt like i wasnt getting anywhere so i decided to stick to my fro for now and watch it grow like i intended! I went natural because i feel like this is apart of who i am, this is what Jah blessed me with along with my mind,body and soul. Im not one to "Fake it til i Make it" But im a free spirit, and i want to embrace my freedom all in one! (= I hope other woman find the courage to do so too!

Ohhh Yeaaa and i've been trying different things like Kinky-Curly [Found at Target] it was good and I went to the hair store recently and purchased TALIJAH WAAJID products ----->

Its a process they tell you how to use on the back which is listed as S.T.E.P.S. and I've used it once., its nice and durable. I like it so far. I can give you better results when i take out these box braids! (=
